I wanted to contact you directly and cut through the noise of PTTR and serve projects for July.
July 09, 2026 Trays for COs
There are 2 shifts this day, you signed up for 1 of them. Are you welcome to serve both? Absolutely.
(11:00AM – 2:00PM & 4:30PM – 7:00PM)
We will be blessing local correctional officers (Rappahanock Regional Jail) by providing a hot meal as an expression of gratitude, support, and the love of Jesus. Recognizing the daily stress and sacrifice correctional staff face in serving our communities, this project seeks to honor them through service and kindness.

Everyone can make a difference:
- Some of us will be serving food,
- some of us will be walking around refilling food and drinks,
- some of us will be taking the empty plates, cups, cans and trash from the tables,
- some of us will clean up between the shifts and at the end of the serve project.
- all of us will be pouring hospitality over these men and women.
If you are the fellowship and praying type, you may find yourself sitting down and praying with people.
A satellite view of the complex is below.

Please enter at the center door to the facility (indicated by the red circle in the picture below)

NOTES:
- This is a Jail, please remember that. Do not bring in anything you don’t need.
- Let’s mention this one more time. This is a Jail, You can be searched. It normally doesn’t happen, but let’s be mindful, we are on their property. Wallet, keys and my Bible are all I take in here, EVER!
- Please, no pets.

When you arrive, please check-in and get a name tag.
After we rally and pray, we’ll get into the mix. I plan to have most things ready to go, but as we know nothing goes as planned, so we’ll pivot as required.
This event is going to be a mix of hospitality and mingling. That could be engaging in conversation, or just sitting beside someone who is alone. Fellowship is important. We were made for community!
Let’s come together in prayer for this project. May God’s everlasting love and goodness be seen through us.
Thank you all for your “YES”!
